OUR HISTORY
Studio Legale Laforgia was founded in the 1950s by Pietro Leonida Laforgia, who was known not only for his professional practice, but also for his social commitment and for his battles to protect civil rights and, in particular, to defend workers and the most vulnerable citizens of our society. One of the founders of UIL national trade union, Pietro Leonida Laforgia, also served as National Secretary of the Italian Lawyers' Council (Fe.S.A.PI.), municipal councillor, Mayor of Bari and Senator of the Republic. After his sudden death in December 1995, the law firm continued its operations with Michele Laforgia. Over the years, other professionals, Alessandro Dello Russo and Maria Luisa Maggiolino, decided to join the firm together with (since 1998) Michele Castellano, Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bari. It was in 2003 that these professionals decided to join their respective practices together establishing a partnership and setting up an association of Professionals under the name 'Studio Laforgia, Castellano e Associati'. Since 2005 the firm has been joined by two other lawyers, Tommaso Barile and Andrea Di Comite. The law firm has been dealing with criminal, civil and commercial law for more than 30 years, with offices in Bari and Rome and additional offices in Mola di Bari and Palo del Colle.
The law firm Studio Legale Bello e Associati was established in Bari in 2012 after more than ten years of experience as a solo practice of Francesco Paolo Bello, with Saverio Nitti and Antonio Arzano joining the firm at a later date. The firm boasts significant experience in the field of administrative law and civil law, with particular reference to the field of procurement of public works, services and supplies, as well as to the sectors of construction and urban planning.
